DogsBest Dog Lick Mats in 2026: 7 Real Picks for Calm, Focused Chewing
Spread, freeze, and go: a lick mat turns bath time, vet visits, and crate training into a calm, focused routine.
Published October 2, 2026
Lick mats work on a simple idea: the repetitive motion of licking has a genuinely calming effect on dogs, which is why vets and trainers recommend them for baths, nail trims, car rides, and separation anxiety. Spread on peanut butter, yogurt, or wet food, freeze it, and hand it over for 15-20 minutes of focused, low-mess engagement.
We checked seven real, in-stock lick mats — silicone and stainless steel, budget multi-packs and premium single mats — comparing suction strength, material, and verified owner reviews to find options for every dog and every use case.

304 Stainless Steel Lick Mat for Dogs & Cats, 1 Pack
